BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:00 P.M.) – Russian fighter jets swarmed the western countryside of Aleppo on Wednesday, striking several Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham (formerly Al-Nusra Front) targets near the provincial capital.

According to a military source in Aleppo, the Russian Air Force conducted over 15 airstrikes above 3 different villages in the provincial capital’s western countryside, killing and wounding several militants from Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham.

The military source specified that the Russian Air Force struck Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham’s positions at the villages of Al-Mansourah and Al-Hour, while also targeting the suburbs of Dart ‘Izza and Al-Rashiddeen 4.

The Russian Air Force has recently intensified their airstrikes over the Aleppo Governorate in conjunction with the mass mobilization of Syrian Arab Army (SAA) reserves in the southern and western countrysides of this northern province.
