BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:00 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army hammered the rebel bases across the Idlib demilitarized zone last night, scoring several direct hits on these installations.
Back by Russian military intelligence, the Syrian Arab Army was able to target and strike the rebel bases inside northern Hama and southern Idlib.
According to a military source in Mhardeh, the Russian military helped provide the Syrian Arab Army with the locations of the rebel bases, paving the way for their artillery and missile units hit their targets directly.
In particular, the Syrian Arab Army was able to strike the Free Idlib Army base inside the town of Al-Latamnah; this attack resulted in the death of at least three rebel fighters.
Furthermore, the Syrian Arab Army targeted the rebel and jihadist bases inside the southern countryside of the Idlib Governorate.
The Syrian Army reportedly targeted the Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham bases inside the towns of Al-Taman’ah and Khuwayn; this resulted in several powerful explosions that could be heard overnight along the Idlib-Hama axis.
Over the last ten days, the Russian Air Force has been conducting several reconnaissance flights across the Idlib demilitarized zone.
These Russian surveillance flights have been collecting information about the rebel and jihadist movements inside the Idlib, Hama, Aleppo, and Latakia provinces.
