BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:30 P.M.) – In a bizarre move, a Russian jet has been flying in circles  for hours around the eastern part of the Black Sea today.

According to Yoruk Isik of the Bosphorus Observer, a Russian Tu-214SR communication relay airplane had been flying doughnuts for over ten hours earlier today.

The reason for flying the circles around the eastern part of the Black Sea is still unknown at this time.

Also known as the ‘doomsday’ plane, the Tu-214SR often accompanies Russian politicians as they fly long distances across the world.

At least we know it can stay in the air for more than 10 hours.

It’s not an ASW (anti submarine warfare) aircraft, it’s a communication aircraft filed with antennas. It allows Putin to have the full range of secure communications he wants wherever he goes, including secured cellphone, interacting with the MoD’s war-room, etc…
If he’s not in Moscow and ends pushing the ‘big red button’, this aircraft will relay the order for the Apocalypse, that’s why it’s called the “doomsday jet”.

Is this the plane that was supposedly denied the use of airspace by Iraq? Maybe the USA didn’t want it to be near their forces…or maybe the story was wrong in the first place. But, for sure, they don’t fly this thing in circles for hours for nothing. Maybe a ship (sub?) in the Black Sea that violates maritime rules there?
