Aleppo, Syria (4:00 A.M.) – The Russian Air Force recently increased their presence over Aleppo City after the jihadist rebels of Jaysh Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest) launched a massive offensive inside the southern districts of the provincial capital.
This latest jihadist offensive attempted to lift the three-week long siege that was imposed on the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo City by the Syrian Armed Forces; it is still ongoing.
In response to this massive offensive, the Russian Air Force has intensified their airstrikes over Aleppo City, targeting the southern districts and villages, as the jihadist rebels mobilize more men to complete their assault.
On Tuesday night, the Russian Air Force continued their aerial campaign, striking the jihadist controlled districts of Al-Ramouseh, Al-‘Amariyah, and Rashiddeen, while the Syrian Army fired several missiles towards the 1070 Al-Hamdaniyah Housing Project.
Russian airstrikes are still ongoing this morning, despite the recent exchange of gunfire near the 1070 Housing Project.
