BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:00 A.M.) – The Russian Air Force carried out a series of airstrikes over the southern countryside of the Idlib Governorate last night.
Using their Sukhoi jets from the Hmeimim Airbase in Latakia, the Russian Air Force struck the headquarters and training camp of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham in southern Idlib.
According to Sputnik Arabic, the headquarters and training camp of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham was located inside the southern Idlib town of Khan Al-Sabil.
The Russian Air Force would then expand their attack to the outskirts of Ma’arat Al-Nu’man, which is where a large Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham force is currently positioned.
Due to the Sochi Agreement with the Turkish regime, the Russian Air Force only launches airstrikes in Idlib if they have direct coordinates of the jihadist bases.
