BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:20 P.M.) – The Russian Air Force destroyed a weapons depot that belonged to the jihadist rebels in the Idlib Governorate last night.

According to a military source in nearby Hama, the Russian Air Force targeted the weapons depot and a jihadist convoy that was traveling through the Idlib Governorate.

The source said the weapons depot was completely destroyed, adding that many members of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham were also killed when the convoy was attacked.

He added that the jihadists were attacked near the Idlib Central Prison, which is located just outside the provincial capital.

It became obvious that the Russian Air Force was going to attack Idlib last night when a number of their military aircraft from the Hmeimim Airbase began swarming the provincial capital.

Prior to their airstrikes on Idlib, the Russian Air Force also targeted the western countryside of the Aleppo Governorate.

The airstrikes on western Aleppo were in response to the recent attacks by Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham that killed 19 Syrian soldiers and more than 15 civilians.

Hace mucho tiempo debieron realizar ataques de este tipo, lamentablemente dejaron que los terroristas acumularan armas y hombres.
