BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:30 A.M.) – The Russian Air Force launched several airstrikes over the Idlib Governorate, yesterday, marking the second time this month that they have targeted Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s positions in northwestern Syria.

According to a new report from northern Syria, the Russian Air Force used a Sukhoi Su-34 jet to carry out the attack on Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s positions in Idlib on Wednesday.

Furthermore, the Su-34 fighter jet reportedly used laser-guided missiles to destroy Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s weapons and ammo depots near the provincial capital of the Idlib Governorate.

As a result of this Russian attack, Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s weapons and ammo depots were destroyed and the Idlib Central Prison was badly damaged.

Opposition activists later reported that several prisoners managed to escape from the Idlib Central Prison, including many rebels, and Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and Islamic State (ISIS) personnel.

I will tell what is so special. The prison strike was to free important people and the weapons depot required intel. Thus Russia is carefully watching Idlib.
