BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:20 A.M.) – The Russian Aerospace Forces resumed their air campaign over the East Ghouta region tonight, conducting several airstrikes above Faylaq Al-Rahman’s positions in Arbeen, ‘Ayn Tarma, and Jobar.

According to an Al-Masdar field correspondent in nearby Damascus, the Russian Aerospace Forces began launching their airstrikes at 1:30 A.M. (Damascus Time); they are still ongoing at the moment.

The field correspondent added that the primary target is ‘Ayn Tarma, which is a Faylaq Al-Rahman stronghold that is located at the western corridor of the East Ghouta region.

These Russian airstrikes come just an hour and a half after the Syrian Air Force bombed the headquarters of Faylaq Al-Rahman and killed several of the group’s commanders.
