Russian air force

BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:30 A.M.) – The Russian Air Force unleashed a large barrage of airstrikes over the northwestern countryside of the Hama Governorate last night, hitting several militant sites near the historical town of Qal’at Al-Madiq.

According to a report from northwestern Hama, the Russian Air Force specifically targeted militant positions at Tal Hawash, Qal’at Al-Madiq, and the Al-Ghaab Plain.

Below is footage from the Russian airstrikes on the militant positions in Qal’at Al-Madiq:

Over the last 48 hours, the Russian Air Force has launched airstrikes across the northwestern region of Syria, mostly targeting Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s positions.

The Russian Air Force resumed their heavy bombardment of northwestern Syria after the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham targeted several areas in the Latakia Governorate, including the Hmeimim Airbase near the coastal city of Jableh.

These attacks by Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham come at the same time the Syrian government and opposition meet for the latest round of peace talks in the Kazakh capital of Astana.
