BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:45 P.M.) – The Russian Aerospace Forces resumed their air campaign over the northern countryside of Hama, today, striking several areas under the control of the jihadist rebels.
Russian jets flying out of the Hmaymim Military Airport in Latakia began the day by launching more than ten airstrikes over the Jaysh Al-‘Izza strongholds of Al-Lataminah and Kafr Zita.
They would follow up these airstrikes by launching another big attack on the town of Morek, which is close to the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) front-lines in the northern countryside of the Hama Governorate.
Below is a video posted by pro-opposition media on Monday that shows the Russians attacking northern Hama:
Today’s airstrikes by the Russian Aerospace Forces come just hours after Jaysh Al-‘Izza heavily bombarded the town of Mhardeh.
