BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:00 P.M.) – The Russian Air Force resumed their aerial campaign over northwestern Syria this week after taking a brief hiatus to discuss a potential ceasefire with Turkey in the Idlib Governorate.
According to a field report from the Hama Governorate on Wednesday, the Russian Air Force unleashed a plethora of airstrikes over the militant positions in the towns of Jibeen and Al-Latamnah.
The Russian Air Force would then continue their strikes in northwestern Hama by targeting the strategic hilltop of Tal Malah, which was captured by the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and their allies from Jaysh Al-Izza earlier this month.
In addition to the Russian airstrikes, the Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) has been conducting hourly attacks in the Idlib and Hama governorates.
The Syrian Air Force has concentrated most of their strikes on the Arbaeen Mountains and the northwestern region of Hama.
