BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:30 P.M.) – The Russian Air Force unleashed a fresh barrage of airstrikes over the Idlib and Hama governorates, hitting a number of jihadist positions along their supply route from Khan Sheikhoun.
According to a military source in the Hama Governorate, the Russian Air Force heavily targeted the southern countryside of Idlib, scoring a number of direct hits on Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s positions.
The source said the primary targets for the Russian Air Force were the towns Al-Hobeit, Khan Sheikhoun, Ma’arat Al-Nu’man, and Kafr Bateekh.
In addition to the Russian airstrikes, the Syrian Air Force also carried out several strikes that targeted the jihadist positions in the southern countryside of the Hama Governorate.
The Syrian Air Force, however, primarily focused on the supply line leading to the strategic hilltop of Tal Malah and the nearby town of Jibeen.
