BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:20 P.M.) – The Russian Air Force has begun launching airstrikes over the southern countryside of the Idlib Governorate, today, joining the Syrian military in their ongoing attack against the jihadist rebels.

Russian jets flying out of the Hmeimim Airbase reportedly conducted several airstrikes over the Hama-Idlib axis this afternoon, hitting a number of targets belonging to Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and Jaysh Al-Izza.

The Russian Air Force mostly focused on the Khan Sheikhoun area, where there were reports of jihadists amassing for a new counter-offensive to retake the key town of Kafr Naboudeh in the neighboring Hama Governorate.

The Russian Air Force also targeted some jihadist sites inside the Al-Ghaab Plain region that is located between the Hama and Idlib governorates.

Oh, if it happens, it’ll be like precedent rounds : hitting facilities that were previously bombed by Israelis, unflyiable aircraft stranded on the grass of the airbase, just enough to let the cockroaches believing they have the west’s support, so they don’t flee the country and Putin can go on bombing the shït out of their a$$es instead having all these roaches moving away from Syria and create nests all around the world 😉 Why do you think so many countries, including Russia and China, have let so many radicalised morons move to Syria? Do you think that FSB had… Read more »

Gustavo Lopez Velazquez : a Flanker, Su-24 or Su-34 won’t make more than 3 missions per 24h. I don’t remember having seen more than 31-32 fighter-jets based in Hmeimim and it’s likely there are less now… Russia’s military budget is only $60B
