Russian air force
Russian Air Force have made over 40,000 flights, including 21,000 flight in the nighttime, over the course of the operation in Syria and delivered strikes at around 122,000 terrorist facilities, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said.
“Over the course of military actions, strikes were delivered at around 122,000 terrorist facilities. Most militants were eliminated,” Shoigu said.
“We acquired extensive military experience in Syria, and we are ready to share it,” he noted adding that peaceful life is being actively restored in Syria.
“As a result of concerted efforts of the Russian center for reconciliation of the conflicting sides, over 2,500 settlements from all over the country have already joined the reconciliation process,” the defense minister said.
Special attention is paid now to resolving humanitarian issues in Syria and assisting refegees in returning to their homes, he concluded.

Please treat this discussion with the same respect you would a public park. We, too, are a shared community resource — a place to share skills, knowledge and interests through ongoing conversation.

These are not hard and fast rules, merely guidelines to aid the human judgment of our community and keep this a clean and well-lighted place for civilized public discourse.

Improve the Discussion

Help us make this a great place for discussion by always working to improve the discussion in some way, however small. If you are not sure your post adds to the conversation, think over what you want to say and try again later.

That’s an average 20 missions a day.
Far from being impressive considering Hmeimim gathered about 30+ strike aircraft…

You forgot to mention that the strikes were often reduced in number due to political considerations. But even in view of the time-outs it is less than one sortie per plane a day.

BTW. Even so it is much more impressive than the US score. Blink.

Agreed. US is best equipped military and a large economy. Russia is comparable to Spain. Lack luster US response speaks more of their intentions than anything else and gives more credence that they have been aiding terrorists not only in Syria but elsewhere. At the end of the day it can be said the Syrians have suffered grave injustices. All I can say is God deliver us for immoral leaders and restore your justice in the world.
