Damascus, SANA – A military source said the Russian Air Force, in cooperation with the Syrian Air Force, carried out 46 sorties within the past 24 hours which targeted 83 terrorist sites in the Syrian provinces of Deir Ezzor, Aleppo, Hama, Idleb, Damascus Countryside, and Lattakia.

The source told SANA that the airstrikes resulted in destroying 16 command centers for terrorists, 4 weapons and ammo depots, a workshop for manufacturing explosives, 2 bases, 61 fortified positions, and number of rockets launchers and artillery pieces.

The airstrikes destroyed a number of buildings which were being used by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists to manufacture explosives, detonators, and munitions in the area surrounding Aleppo city.

In Idleb countryside, a training camp for Jabhat al-Nusra was destroyed in the area surrounding Khan Sheikhon, in addition to a command center used to monitor and adjust terrorists’ targeting in Syriatel hill, a meeting center for terrorist leaders in the area surrounding Sirmin, and a base and an ammo cache in Jisr al-Shoghour area.

The source noted that before fleeing an area, terrorists are planting explosive devices rigged with remote or timed detonators in hospitals, schools, and private and public establishments.
