The Russian Air Force is all over the western countryside of Deir Ezzor this morning, striking several sites that are under the control of the so called “Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham” (ISIS).

In a matter of minutes, the Russian Air Force has struck several ISIS sites in western Deir Ezzor, including the aforementioned terrorist group’s positions at the Al-Muri’iyah Farms, Al-Jafra, Jabal Al-Thurdeh, Al-Baghayliyah, ‘Ayyash, and Al-Shoula.

ISIS is currently attempting to advance at the Deir Ezzor Military Airport; however, the Russian Air Force has done a great job of keeping the terrorist group away from the base’s gates this morning.

Yesterday, the Syrian Arab Army’s 104th Airborne Brigade of the Republican Guard imposed full control over the Al-Raqqa Brigade; this paved the way for their powerful assault on the Ayyash weapons depot today.

They are probably prioritising it because of its proximity to one of their main revenue sources, stealing oil from the nearby fields and selling it to spec truckies who take it to Turkey. They are out there more or less in the open, and in considerable groups, complete with stolen equipment and a death wish, which makes them behave foolishly. Very accurately targeted napalm would be the ideal terror inducing weapon, but the American A10 Warthog would be just great for doing the… Read more »
