Aleppo, Syria (12:15 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army’s Republican Guard, backed by Hezbollah, launched a counter-assault inside Aleppo City on Thursday, targeting the Hikmah School and 1070 Al-Hamdaniyah Housing Project near the Al-Ramouseh District.

The Syrian Armed Forces and Hezbollah were able to stop the initial advance by the jihadist rebels of Jaysh Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest); however, it was the Russian Air Force that paved the way for the government units after they bombarded the enemy combatants near the 1070 Housing Complex.

According to a military source in Aleppo City, the first attack by the Syrian Armed Forces and Hezbollah was repelled by the jihadist rebels at 1070 Housing Complex, forcing them to regroup and restart their attack once again.

Currently, the Russian Air Force is striking the area around the 1070 Housing Complex in order to weaken the jihadist resolve, while the Syrian Arab Army prepares for their next attack.

Thank you for this report. It is impossible for anyone who is dependent on Western media to understand what is happening in Syria.
