DAMASCUS, SYRIA (1:45 P.M.) – The Russian Air Force has been unrelenting in their attacks against the jihadist rebels of Jaysh Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest) that past 24 hours, launching airstrikes across both the Idlib and Aleppo governorates in order to halt the weapons supply to the latter.
Several Russian air battalions have been reportedly pounding the main jihadist supply road (M-5 Highway) from Idlib to Aleppo, inflicting heavy damage to a number of armored vehicles and militant bases.
According to a military source in Aleppo City, the Russian Air Force has launched approximately 25 airstrikes over the key supply town of Saraqib in northeast Idlib and another dozen airstrikes over the large village of Taftanaz and its nearby airbase.
The military source added that the Russian Air Force destroyed a large ammunition depot in the northern Aleppo village of Layramoun, causing a massive explosion that could be heard across the provincial capital.
This ammunition depot in Layramoun was providing necessary supplies to the jihadist rebels combatting the Syrian Arab Army in the nearby Minyan and Al-Assad suburbs.
