BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:40 P.M.) – The Russian Air Force carried out a special operation on Friday that targeted one of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s underground bases in the northern Hama countryside.

A Russian jet traveling from the Hmaymim Airbase in southwest Latakia would conduct this airstrike on Friday, using a bunker buster bomb to destroy the jihadist base.

The Russian Ministry of Defense released footage of this bombing today, showing the moment their jet struck the jihadist installation in the northern Hama countryside.

Since the U.S.’ attack on the Shay’rat Airbase in east Homs, the Russian Air Force has stepped up their air campaign in Syria, targeting jihadist rebel factions operating on several fronts around the country.

I wonder how many Western Advisers were there 🙂 All the terrorists seen in the area display good basic field craft skills with their 5m spacing’s and this is in a rear area. Its yet another small sign of professional training for Terrorists by the West.

IMHO : zero western advisers or they wouldn’t get caught so easily 😆 5m spacing isn’t western spacing, here we are more into 50-60m and usually you (may) see only the riffle as we have deported targetting in the helmet ten, as there is thermal vision and with the Berretta barrel, range has been extended to 600m with 5.56… Seem even that there had been some upgrade coming from a system you for long had only on aircraft : you lock several targets on the display, you pull the trigger, riffle only shoot when target is exactly in the sight.… Read more »

@ Daeshbag,

I was making a Generalisation, not a detailed appraisal of the semblance of discipline and order employed by the terrorists in the video that are rarely observed.

I make allowances for your use and understanding of English as your first language is French and understanding the nuances of any language is very difficult for any non native speaker.

Les français sont les maîtres de l’infanterie légère… les saoudiens, par contre, juste un petit peu plus capables que les mecs du Hamas: 5 mètres c’est leur top, après ils arrivent pas à cordonner !

The French are the masters of light infantry tactics: doing less with more. Other forces aren’t as good. The Saudis, for example 😉
