BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:40 P.M.) – For the sixth day in a row, the jihadist rebels heavily shelled the Shiite towns of Kafraya and Al-Fou’aa in the Idlib Governorate, causing several civilian casualties as a result of these attacks.

In response to these attacks, the Russian Aerospace Forces launched several retaliatory airstrikes over the jihadist-held towns located near both Al-Fou’aa and Kafraya.

According to a military source in Damascus, the Russian Aerospace Forces heavily bombarded the jihadist-held towns of Taoum, Taftanaz, Binnish, Ma’arat Misrin, and Ram Hamdan; this attack was meant to deter the militants from shelling Al-Fou’aa and Kafraya.
