BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:00 P.M.) – The Russian Air Force has launched a new set of strikes over the Idlib Governorate today, targeting several sites belonging to the jihadist rebels.

According to a military source in the nearby Hama Governorate, the Russian Air Force heavily targeted the positions of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham in the town of Rakaya and its surroundings.

This latest series of airstrikes by the Russian Air Force comes just 15 hours after they bombed a Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham command center in the Arba’een Mountain region of Idlib.

Since the start of October, the Russian Air Force has launched airstrikes over the Idlib Governorate on five instances, which has now exceeded the month of September.
