BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:10 A.M.) – The jihadist rebels launched a drone attack on the Russian Hmaymim Airbase last night, marking the first time since late December of last year that they have targeted this military installation.

The Russian Air Defense was able to repel the jihadist drone attack using their Pantsir system at the Hmaymim Airport.

In response to this attack by the jihadist rebels, the Russian Aerospace Forces unleashed a flurry of airstrikes over the Hama and Idlib governorates, striking several areas controlled by the militant groups.

According to a military source in Latakia, the Russian Aerospace Forces specifically targeted areas that were close to the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) front-lines in northern Hama and southern Idlib.

Below is some video footage from the pro-rebel STEP News Agency from this area:

I wont be surprised if Russia decides to use a small tactical Nuoke in Idlib to fry all the head choppers and decide to confront Amrikans. UK & France in the worst case scenario.
