BEIRUT, LEBANON (5:20 P.M.) – Russia is still mulling over the idea of delivering the S-300 anti-missile system to Syria, the Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin stated on Wednesday.

According to Fomin, no decision has been made yet regarding the supply of these advanced air systems, despite much speculation.

Fomin continued that Russia has no restrictions on what kind of equipment the Syrians could receive, the Interfax News Agency claimed.

Last month, several Russian officials hinted that Russia may supply Syria with S-300 systems to boost their air defenses following the US-led Coalition’s attack on April 14.

No surprise here, very consistent with Russian historical behaviour.
Let your enemy weaken your friends, let your enemy get stronger, let the enemy destabilize every country you have a border with. let the enemy turn your friends against you.

That’s it, nothing new here.

Exactly , Russian’s leave their own Allies Iran and Syria vulnerable facing Israelis run by warmunger Natanyahu who receives unlimited money and latest sophisticated weapons to date from Us
And Russia still not sure at all to supply syrians to defend themselves against this little warmunger Zionist Benjamin Natanyahu who have terrorized middle East for several decades
With total support of US kill and stealing Palestinian and occupying neighbors lands .
. there is no doubt that isreal is 52nd state of the US and allies are in war with United States .

Mulling ? Does Russia need to ask ISRAHELL if this is possible ? That is totally a vassal behavior of Russia with respect Israel. Stop being a Israel vassal ! Just deliver this S-300 systems, point.

Russians have 2 bases in Syria, Syria is attacked by a gang of ruthless, immoral and vicious nations (or their governments) so having S300 to protect Russians bases there may not protect them in the long run and delivering S300 to Syria may do just that. The problem with this statement is that we don’t know what the long period plan Russia have for ME, the change of situation in Syria was a result of a methodical, systematic and tactical planning and execution. I am looking forward to the next phase of this process as Syria still needs to be… Read more »
