BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:20 P.M.) – The Russian Ministry of Defense has denied reports of heavy casualties and material damage at the Hmeimim Airbase after the militants allegedly targeted the installation.

According to the statement, the projectiles allegedly fell on the town of Rousah Afif near the Hmeimim Airbase and the port-city of Jableh.

The militant attack claim was first reported by the Syrian state media; however, no footage or pictures were release to corroborate the alleged assault.

That is going to be so very difficult and we can say not possible to cut off the hands of the mad men that are now feeding the rabid dogs in Syria. Qatar, Saudi, Turkey, US, UK, Israel and many western countries, African nations, Caucus nations have funded and or directly or indirectly supported various Jihadi groups with cash, man power & war materials the sole aim to weaken Syria and break up Syria to destabilize Syria and to take on Iran in Syria or against Hezbollah.

Never considered that USA is simply into transferring the regional stabilisation job to Russia for the good reason that Russia is the only “big boy” able to talk to everybody? Moreover, since USA is no more dependent on Mid-East oil, having to be the sheriff for the region is losing interest and a good cop/bad cop teaming with Russia playing the good cop and USA playing the bad cop is now way more interesting.

Some are not implied despite [unproven] persistent accusations while they were absolutely neutral at least on this point [not on others, but it’s another story running in parallel], some have pulled out, some have been deceived into believing they were backing oppressed pro-democracy protesters by a few of the named ones who had a double agenda from the start and were seen as trustee allies while actually back-stabbing their long time partners. It’s actually VERY complicated (it’s why I find it interesting) as there are multiple players with multiple agendas, you can’t even trust your traditional allies while your supposed… Read more »

>>> I’ve already took position on it : I’d have no problems with taking care of them, even if they are supposedly “allies”, I can do without “frenemies” without consciousness problems.
