BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:30 P.M.) – On Friday, the Russian Ministry of Defense released a video of their warplanes intercepting a U.S. bomber over the Sea of Okhotsk
Under the video, the Russian Ministry of Defense wrote:
“The air defense forces spotted the B-52N bomber in the eastern military zone and escorted a pair of them over the neutral waters of the Sea of Okhotsk.”
They added that to intercept the U.S. bombers, they used their Su-30, Su-35 and MiG-31 fighters.
The interception as carried out in accordance with international rules for the use of airspace over neutral waters, without violating the borders of other countries, the Russian Ministry of Defense said.
