DAMASCUS, SYRIA (5:15 P.M.) – The Russian military reportedly redeployed their S-300 anti-aircraft missile system to the Aleppo Governorate on Tuesday after a pulling them back over the summer.

A military source in Aleppo told Al-Masdar News on Tuesday that at least 7 batteries belonging to the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system were redeployed to the city of Al-Safirah in southern Aleppo.

Al-Safirah is the primary location of the Hezbollah and Iranian forces in southern Aleppo; it is also the site of one of the Syrian Army’s largest bases in the province.

No reason was given for this recent move by the Russian military; however, on Tuesday, their navy began launching cruise missiles towards the jihadist defenses in the Aleppo Governorate.

  1. It’s to avoid some out of control missile falling on YPG… Or some unwanted F-16 dropping something on them or… on SAA as al-Bab is likely to fall to FSA… What may be cool would be a few truck mounted AK-630M2 for YPG : considering truck mounted Phalanx have efficiently protected US bases in Afghanistan from howitzer/mortar shells, some CIWS would likely defeat the Firtina shelling against strategic points in Rojava. I’m still surprised Russians don’t build a Shilka II with the AK-630M2. It may be very interesting.

    • onething is taking out a few shells fired from goat fckers and somethinf else is shialding from artillery fire fired by Merdogan orcs with no problems od resuply and plenty of ammo, it will be better if they supplied them with advanced manpads and or even better givean ultimatum to Merdogan to get the fck out of Syr then obliterate turkish rodents, I believe this will happens once Aleppo is liberated and maybe more important places like Deir Ezzor

    • Coalition is NOT NATO!
As soon as you do air strikes, there are likely to be collateral damages especially if you bomb fighters who have decided to fight from a populated area, is it in Aleppo, Mosul, Fallujah, Berlin or Gaza.
As long as coalition targets Daesh or Nusra/Qaeda or other shithadists, their action has nothing negative and they’re even welcomed. Remember they comply with Russian air-controllers!

  2. You may not like it but NATO is part of the US Coalition in Syria and even Belgian aircraft have been bombing there. Killing civilians incidentally . A ‘mistake ‘ I understand 🙁 This is Belgium that has never won a war single handed in its existence and even needed help to murder Africans armed with spears in the Congo.

Many, if not all, NATO countries have assisted the Terrorist gangs in Syria, by selling old Warsaw Pact equipment and ammunition to US/Saudi/Qatari funded terrorists, providing training in some sphere to terrorists, providing aircraft, ships and personnel, providing treatment for the wounded, providing Intel, et al. The UK has even provided hundreds of millions of £ and a lot of plastic builders helmets to the Takfiri faux rescue terrorists called the White Helmets.

I fervently hope that NATO is disbanded and that all the billions spent on Boys Toys to play at being soldiers with is redirected into civilian infrastructure. God knows, Europe is in need of it.

Russia has NO wish, need or intention to assault the EU countries and the NATO Nancy Boys with their PC LGBT soldiers running around Russia’s borders realise all to well that Russia will liquidate all of those who defile Russian Lands.
