The war raging in Syria since 2011 has left millions of Syrian internally displaced. Although the United Nations frequently report on their plight, little is done in the West to assist the refugees.
It is estimated that 6.6 million Syrians are internally displaced. This has meant that cities like Damascus and Tartous have exorbitantly increased in population as people leave the fighting between government forces and terrorist groups to safer areas.
Recently the Russian military have increased their humanitarian program in coordination with Syrian officials in Damascus. This is much needed help for the people who have lost their homes and livelihoods to Western and Gulf funded terrorist groups.
The following footage demonstrates such Russian help in Latakia, where most of the refugees originating from Idlib and Aleppo provinces have fled terrorist groups plaguing their areas.
