BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:40 P.M.) – The Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv is still experiencing a GPS disruption, which Israeli officials believe is a result of the Russian military jamming their signals.

According to the Haaretz, the disruption of the Global Positioning System signals (GPS) within Israeli airspace could be a result of a Russian system based on a ship in the eastern Mediterranean or the Hmeimim (var. Khemeimim) Airbase in western Syria.

The Russian Ambassador to Israel to Israeli radio on Thursday that these claims are “fake news” and possess no merit.

Citing unnamed officials, the Haaretz reported that Israel is examining the possibility that the signal disruptions could have originated within their airspace.

If so, the person or entity responsible for the GPS disruption may not know that they are the responsible for the signal jamming.

So the Israelis aren’t sure where the GPS blocking is coming from and yet make accusations against the Russians???

“unnamed officials”; “could be a result” >>> I don’t call it accusations. These are suppositions. If a journo asks me “Can the Russians do this”, I will answer “Yes”… Then Haaretz is really full of shït, so they don’t miss an opportunity to write crap. The Haaretz mindset is having at least an article per day which will pi$$-off Bibi… ” Even if the Russians are blocking GPS/military GPS in the Middle East I say good for them.” >>> there is no GPS/military GPS : it’s the same GPS for all. And BTW, militaries have something else much more efficient,… Read more »

Considering they were capable to build copies of Mirage-5 modified with a serious radar and using a F-4 Phantom-II engine in the end of the 60’s while in 2019, you’re barely able to build a copy of a 1958 F-5 Tiger and you’re stuck in a mindset of a schizophrenic Bedouin from the 7th century named Muhammad, who didn’t even knew a year lasts 365 days and 6 hours, you’re poorly placed to call them primitive… BTW, you can tell your ayatoilet that in antique Egypt, they already had barbers and razors… I noticed he’s often itching his beard.
