El gobierno sirio debería recuperar el control de todas las instalaciones petroleras en el noreste del país, dijo el miércoles la agencia de noticias RIA Novosti citando al Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores de Rusia.

El viceministro de Relaciones Exteriores, Mikhail Bogdanov, también dijo que Moscú esperaba que los kurdos sirios brinden una garantía de que se retirarán de la zona fronteriza, según RIA.

Actualmente, el ejército estadounidense ocupa varios campos petroleros sirios, incluido uno de los más grandes del país.

Las autoridades estadounidenses se han negado a devolver estos campos petroleros al gobierno sirio; en cambio, los han mantenido para intensificar su bloqueo en el país.
