The US has chosen the ‘wrong path’ the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani warned speaking before his minister cabinet in Tehran on Wednesday.

“This is the wrong path that they have chosen,” the Iranian President said, adding that “they have embarrassed themselves in the eye of the world, in the eye of our nation.”

According to Rouhani, “these tyrannical wrong sanctions of the US will result in the suffering of our dear noble nation,” however it is “impossible” to “completely stop Iran’s oil.”

He accused the US of not respecting “international laws and regulations” and suppressing the “large nations of this region” meaning the people of Palestine.

The US reinstated all the sanctions it had previously lifted as part of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), or Iran nuclear deal, on Monday.

The sanctions target Iran’s oil, banking and shipping industries and the Trump administration has also promised to institute harsh penalties for any other states that continue to conduct trade with the country.

Please treat this discussion with the same respect you would a public park. We, too, are a shared community resource — a place to share skills, knowledge and interests through ongoing conversation.

These are not hard and fast rules, merely guidelines to aid the human judgment of our community and keep this a clean and well-lighted place for civilized public discourse.

Improve the Discussion

Help us make this a great place for discussion by always working to improve the discussion in some way, however small. If you are not sure your post adds to the conversation, think over what you want to say and try again later.

Be Agreeable, Even When You Disagree

You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But remember to criticize ideas, not people. Please avoid:

  • Name-calling
  • Ad hominem attacks
  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.

Yup, it’s the wrong path : the mullah’s agencies that enforce the ugly dictatorship on Iranian people are well known… Just hammer them with cruise missiles and JDAMs while arming the population and provide ’em air support to take their country back from the illegitimate bigotic regime.
