A large convoy of reinforcements from Fouj Al-Joulan (Golani Regiment) and Liwaa Suqour Al-Quneitra (Al-Quneitra Hawks) arrived to the western countryside of Palmyra (Tadmur) on Monday evening, swelling the total number of military personnel to 6,000+ soldiers.

According to a battlefield correspondent in the Palmyra countryside, the Syrian Armed Forces and their allies are making final preparations to storm this ancient desert city in the Homs Governorate’s eastern countryside.

The final decision came from the Syrian Arab Army’s Central Command after the successful military operations on Tuesday, which included the government forces and their allies reaching the important Palmyra Triangle.

Currently, the Syrian Armed Forces and their allies are positioned just outside of the Qatari Royal Villa; this is considered the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham’s (ISIS) primary training camp in central Syria.

North of the Qatari Royal Villa, the Syrian Arab Army’s “Tiger Forces” and “Desert Hawks Brigade” are steadily encircling ISIS at the village of Al-Dawah; this site will likely be captured in the coming days.
