BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:00 P.M.) – The Turkish-backed rebels from the Free Syrian Army (FSA) sent a massive convoy of reinforcements to the western countryside of Aleppo on Sunday.
According to opposition activists via social media, the Free Syrian Army sent the reinforcements from several areas in northern Syria.
The reinforcements are expected to aid the Turkish-backed rebels to reclaim all of the territories they lost to the jihadists of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham last week.
Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham was able to capture the entire countryside of western Aleppo after launching a big offensive against their former allies from Harakat Nouriddeen Al-Zinki.
The jihadist offensive was launched after the latter accused Harakat Nouriddeen Al-Zinki of killing five of their fighters near the key town of Dart Izza.
