BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:00 P.M.) – The rebel forces in southwest Syria launched retaliatory attacks against the civilians living in the government-held areas of the Dara’a Governorate on Saturday.

According to a military source in Dara’a, the rebels attacked the Syrian government-held Panorama area of Dara’a, Saturday, killing at least two civilians and wounding five others in the provincial capital.

The source added that the rebels launched more than missiles into the provincial capital of Dara’a after they lost another four towns in the northeastern part of the province.

On Friday morning, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their allies launched their long-awaited offensive in the northeastern countryside of the Dara’a Governorate.

Since launching this offensive, the Syrian Arab Army has captured six towns and several points from the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham.
