A menudo confundido con el bastión rebelde recientemente capturado de Kinsibba, el pueblo de Hinsibba se encuentra junto a ‘Ayn Al-Quntara (capturada el día de hoy) en las montañas kurdas (Jabal al-Akrad) al noreste de Latakia.

Hace instantes, la 103ra Brigada de la Guardia Republicana del Ejército Árabe Sirio – junto con la milica del Partido Social Nacionalista Sirio (PSNS), Liwaa Suqur Al-Sahra (Brigada de Halcones del Desierto), al-Mughawayr al-Bahar (marines sirios), y las Fuerzas de Defensa Nacional (FDN) – impusieron control total sobre Hinsibba después de golpear las defensas de los rebeldes islamistas desde sus posiciones en Kinsibba.

Con Hinsibba bajo su control, las fuerzas armadas sirias ahora han capturado dos pueblos que se sitúan al norte de Kinsibba, a medida que continúan su avance constante hacia el paso fronterizo con Turquía.
