BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:15 A.M.) – The Free Syrian Army (FSA) and their Islamist allies launched an offensive in the western countryside of Dara’a on Saturday in order to reclaim the territory they lost to Jaysh Khaled bin Walid (ISIL affiliate).

According to the terrorist group’s official media wing, Al-‘Amaq, the rebel forces were unable to recapture the villages of Tal ‘Ushtarah and Jaleen in west Dara’a after a fierce battle with Jaysh Khaled bin Walid on Saturday.

Initially, the Free Syrian Army and their allies claimed control of Tal ‘Ushtarah; however, regardless whether or not they were in possession of this hilltop village at one point or another, the Islamic State ended up in full control of it by Saturday evening.

With the rebel forces failing to recover these villages, the Islamic State can once again make a push for the strategic town of Nawa, which is located near the government’s front-lines.

No wonder they wasted their fighters and resources on an offensive on the SAA inside Daraa city without seeing who their real enemies were.

“No wonder they wasted their fighters and resources on an offensive on the SAA inside Daraa city”
=> Especially with the (secular) FSA-Southern Front that initially had gave up the fight against SAA to concentrate on fighting Daesh that got implied at teamng with Nusra for such a stupid idea.
Nonetheless they had losses, are taking hit but having got allied with terrorists end on everybody’s kill list!
It’s Dumb & Dumber.

I know a number of pro Southern Front expatriates from Daraa. They were surprised to hear that I expect the democrats to side with the SAA against Qaeda & co.

p.s. At the beginning in Daraa the regime’s myrmidons behaved “Dumb & Dumber” as if to provoke a rising.

Just plain sadism or to get baksheesh after the rebellion is beaten?

I can understand the rebels. It is like the feeling of an anti-Fascist conscript that had to fight for his homeland.
