DAMASCUS, SYRIA (11:15 A.M.) – Radical Saudi cleric, ‘Abdullah Al-Muhaysni, released a new video on Monday, propagating his “humanitarian” assistance to the Syrian people after the U.S. Treasury issued financial sanctions against him.
In the video, Muhaysni states that he is not a member of any jihadist factions, nor does he offer financial support to groups like Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham (sanctioned terrorist group); instead, he claims to fund their “operations.”
Using refugee children to justify his calls for jihad in Syria, Muhaysni says that he helped lift the siege on east Aleppo and was injured in doing so.
Muhaysni then claimed he does not recruit children to jihad and demanded proof to back up these allegations.
Despite claiming that these allegations do not bother him, Muhaysni spent a great deal of time justifying his actions to his audience.
As the video concluded, two men issued their own comments that applauded Muhaysni and demanded the Syrian government, Shia Muslims, and Russia be sanctioned.
