Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday Russia will never accept the position of Western structures on the death of Russian medics in Syria.

“I mean big international structures which have put an equal sigh between our medics who have been killed and those who hit their hospital, and did it deliberately as they knew where the medical establishment is located,” Putin said at a meeting of the council for the development of civil society and human rights.

“It is absolutely unacceptable and inadmissible,” he stressed. “We will never accept it.”

The president thanked the Russian Red Cross Society which has resolutely condemned the killing of Russian medics in Syria. “It is absolutely obvious: our medics came there to address absolutely humanitarian tasks, they arrived there not to take part in combat operations but to help people, the local civilian population,” he said.

“I have seen no condemnation of what has happened from any of the big international organizations,” Putin stressed. “Regrettably, it sets us thinking about how unbiased some of our partners are in highlighting the situation.”

A great many of us in the West who are well informed of the reality of US enabled terrorism in the Middle east deplore the actions and propaganda of our governments toward Russia’s courageous stand against terrorist barbarism. The majority of the ‘uninformed’ in the West do not care about the carnage created by the US enabled terrorists. They prefer to immerse their dull minds in sport , ‘reality’ TV ( freak shows ) and pleasuring themselves. Sadly most Western Leaders in Government are now so corrupted by avarice , moral deviance and the lust for power, that only their… Read more »

the “West”? I p**s on the West! it’s a propaganda term, we Europeans have to discredit it, we’ve got no common interests and no common values with those transatlantic barbarians who for now almost hundred years dare to pester the affairs of our hemisphere. They are stranger to us than aliens could be!
Now they try to separate us from our natural partners, the Russians – Putin (well, he’s not a saint) is absolutely right to condemn the hypocritical biased “humanitarian” propaganda of the “West”!

Immer feste druff!

“not saint” sounds like a concrete blame and normally should be specified. I’d sincerely like to know what Putin has done wrong?

in the syrian context Putin has done extremely well – he did what we other Europeans should have done, stregthen the secular powers against the jihadi chaos intented by the murricans & their terror coalition. By “not a saint” I do not mean to indicate any concrete blame, I only want to point out that if you deal with him, you’d better be in a strong position – “wir müssen stark & gefürchtet sein”, as Clausewitz used to say – and even if Russia was right to annex the Crimea (no point of discussion here), she had guaranteed the territorial… Read more »

It is false to consider the British , French , NATO , Americans as ”partners”’ in any sense. With irony only. These are antagonists , especially the Anglo-French , and the whole EU Commission for that matter , they are rabid adversaries , fulminating opponents in the context of Syria. They glee with delight for having given Russia a ”b****y nose”. Extracting a petty revenge for the success of Russian policy , in defeating terrorism in Syria , changing the flow of history. The victory in Syria is indeed very significant world-shattering event . The enemies of peace fully comprehend… Read more »
