Earlier today, rebel sources reported that Hezbollah (Lebanese paramilitary) commander Haj Sameer Ali Awada was killed after clashes with rebel groups in northern Aleppo, near the Al-Mallah farms.
Now, an Hezbollah representative has also confirmed his death; however, the official version states his death occurred after illness at a hospital in Lebanon.
Haj Sameer was a close friend of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah himself, often advising him on political matters.
Despite unclear circumstances regarding his death, both sides seem to agree that Haj Sameer Ali Awada is deceased.
Hezbollah commander Haj Sameer Ali Awada participated in a number of battles since the Lebanese paramilitary group first entered the Syrian war in Qusayr, 2013.
However, his whereabouts have been unbeknownst for a while to the general public.
