BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:30 A.M.) – A powerful explosion was reported from the predominately Kurdish city of Sirnak this morning after an alleged roadside bomb struck a Turkish Army convoy.
According to local activists, at least one soldier was killed and five others were wounded during the explosion this morning in Sirnak.
The Turkish Army was reportedly carrying out a patrol along the Cudi Mountains of Sirnak, when the explosives were detonated this morning.
Following the explosion, Turkish ambulances arrived at the scene to treat the wounded, while police investigated the terrorist attack.
