BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:10 A.M.) – Iran’s Tasnim News Agency quoted local sources as saying that a military bus was targeted in the Korin region of Sistan and Baluchestan Province, southeastern Iran, on the border with Pakistan and Afghanistan.
MEanwhile, the Iranian news agency, Mehr, said that an explosion took place on the road between the cities of Zahedan-Khash in southeastern Iran.
Some sources reported hearing an explosion near the village of Glogah, which is located in the Koren region on the road between the cities of Zahedan and Khash, in the southeast Sistan-Baluchestan province.
According to Mehr’s follow-up, it is possible that the explosion was caused by a terrorist act carried out by hostile groups in that area.
No official source has yet commented on the incident.
It is noteworthy that the Army of Justice, classified as a terrorist organization in Iran, targeted a bus belonging to the Revolutionary Guards in February 2019 on the road between the cities of Zahedan and Khash, killing 27 guards and wounding 13 others.
