A Federal Police Chief has claimed that since operations to take western Mosul began against ISIS terrorists, the Iraqi forces have killed over 900 terrorists.
Lieutenant General Shaker Jawdat, said in statements Tuesday that 929 Islamic State members were killed since operations began on February 19th to recapture the western side of the city, according to IraqiNews.
Over 200 fighters were killed on Monday alone IraqiNews quoted Jawdat as saying.
A further 84 booby-trapped vehicles and 3 drones were destroyed and brought down during battles, the report continued.
