Netanyahu’s wife has allegedly been involved in misuse of state funds and inflated household spending promoting for Israeli police to arrest her, Israeli media have reported.
In a released statement, police claim they have concluded their investigations and presented their findings to state prosecutors.
Sara Netabyahu has allegedly held lavish dinner parties, used state funds to pay for the care of her father and hiring an electrician that did not meet government contractual standards.
The Prime Minister’s official Facebook released a statement denying the allegations.
“In the police statement there was no recommendation to bring Mrs Netanyahu to trial. In contrast to reports, Mrs. Netanyahu did not commit any crime.”
