The Turkish-based Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) carried out a vicious assault against the Turkish Army on Saturday, killing one soldier and wounding a half dozen others near the border town of Mardin.

The PKK has carried out several attacks against the Turkish Army and Police in the past, using different methods to harass and kill members of their armed forces.

They should target high cost assets : militaries are expandable at will, especially in Turkey… Destruction of an E-7A Wedgetail Turkey uses as AWACS is +400M$ and many assets can be much more expansive, military or not… If I had to fight a fascist state, I’d target its economy first as fascism is the hardcorest form of capitalism, dixit its inventor, Benito Mussolini.
