DAMASCUS, SYRIA (4:20 P.M.) – Following the liberation of Beit Sawa town in East Ghouta region, the government troops began a full-scale mop-up operation in former rebel bastion.
In the process, soldiers of the renowned elite Tiger Forces came across a family whom the rebels prevented from leaving the town.
The afflicted family was immediately given medical assistance as well as provided with food and basic supplies
Recently, scores of civilians in East Ghouta town, such as Hamuriyah and Saqba, took part in demonstrations, calling on militants to emerge out and expressing willingness to hand over the towns to the Syrian government.
Today, another Humanitarian corridor was opened to allow civilians to leave the East Ghouta battleground to government-run areas.
