BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:30 P.M.) – Russia continues to re-supply and modernize the Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF). To this end, pictures have emerged showing the very recently delivery of at least one Mi-24 attack helicopter by Russia to the SyAAF.

The helicopter shown below is an ex-Russian Aerospace Forces Mi-24P that has since been transferred to the control of the SyAAF and pressed into operational service

According to military sources, Russia very recently delivered an unspecified number of attack helicopters and warplanes, including more Su-24M2 tactical bombers, to the SyAAF.

The transfer of such combat aviation not only helps to modernize the SyAAF, but also serves to somewhat compensate for the attrition endured by it after six years of war.

And the music that goes with…

Directed by late Pierre Boulez… My prefered for Wagner, Stravinski and Debussy definitively (and a wonderful composer too, give a try to ‘Le Marteau Sans Maître’).
