BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:05 A.M.) – A suicide bomber detonated his explosive belt in front of a group of Al-Qaeda linked rebel fighters in the Idlib Governorate town of Armanaz, opposition activists reported tonight.

According to reports from rural Idlib, the suicide bomber detonated his belt in front of a vehicle that was filled with fighters from the Al-Qaeda linked Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham rebel faction.

As a result of the bombing, at least four HTS fighters were killed and four others were wounded, including two civilians that were present in the area of the attack.

Recently, HTS took control of Armanaz in northern Idlib after launching an attack against their former rebel allies.
