BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:30 P.M.) – The jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and the Turkistan Islamic Party (TIP) launched a large-scale offensive in the northern countryside of the Hama Governorate today.
The HTS and TIP terrorists attempted to break-through the Syrian Army’s defenses arond the key town of Ma’an, which is located southeast of the Idlib Governorate border.
However, the HTS offensive would take a disastrous turn this afternoon, following an intense series of clashes with the Syrian Arab Army’s 66th Brigade of the 11th Tank Division.
Scores of terrorists were eliminated during their disastrous attack, including a large number of foreign militants fighting for the Turkistan Islamic Party and Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham.
The photos below were released following the failed jihadist offensive in northern Hama.
Since the failed jihadist offensive, the Syrian Army has secured all fronts in northern Hama and ensured that there were no lingering threats.
