DAMASCUS, SYRIA (4:25 P.M.) – Since the battle for Raqqa began, dozens of suicide bombers have blown themselves to smithereens in a desperate bid to cling on to the Islamic State’s self-proclaimed capital. Two more such cases were reported by Amaq Agency on Sunday.

Targeting the predominately Kurdish ‘Syrian Democratic Forces’ (SDF) in the southern neighborhoods of the city, ISIS claimed over 20 SDF troops following the car bombings alone:

In addition to its use of car bombs, images were also released showing ISIS using rocket launchers, snipers and machine-gune fire, likely inflicting heavy casualties upon the SDF:
