Two ISIS fighters were taken captive by the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) Tiger Forces as the latter swept like an avalanche across ISIS-held villages in eastern Aleppo on Wednesday.

Following common procedure, the combattants were stripped naked to ensure that they were not suicide bombers. The incident occurred in newly liberated village of Nabata Saghira.

Subsequently, the Tiger Forces interrogated the prisoners of war and transferred the captive jihadists to a government prison near the provincial capital.

Please treat this discussion with the same respect you would a public park. We, too, are a shared community resource — a place to share skills, knowledge and interests through ongoing conversation.

These are not hard and fast rules, merely guidelines to aid the human judgment of our community and keep this a clean and well-lighted place for civilized public discourse.

Improve the Discussion

Help us make this a great place for discussion by always working to improve the discussion in some way, however small. If you are not sure your post adds to the conversation, think over what you want to say and try again later.

The topics discussed here matter to us, and we want you to act as if they matter to you, too. Be respectful of the topics and the people discussing them, even if you disagree with some of what is being said.

Be Agreeable, Even When You Disagree

You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But remember to criticize ideas, not people. Please avoid:

  • Name-calling
  • Ad hominem attacks
  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.

Present POWs to the public and IS internet hangouts after interrogation.

Taking not killing POWs erodes loosing IS mens’ fighting spirit.

There is choice and hope after all and not only the 72 virgins.

Give them none. Torture them very slowly, very painfuly, with a big mirror in front of them so they can appreciate in detail what is being done to their simian carcasses

This ain’t a war crime, it’s crime against humanity.
When you’re on the good side, you don’t act like a monster : if you have to become like the cockroaches to fight them, even if you kill’em, they win as you end being just like them.

Their whining reminds me of the actions of west bank settlers when they are caught by Palestinians. Both are ‘so tough’ when they are in power, but squeal like babies as soon as they are caught.
