DAMASCUS, SYRIA (7:20 P.M.) – As the agreement on Syrian “de-escalation zones” is being gradually fulfilled, more and more opposition-held towns and villages join the reconciliation process.

On Saturday, hundreds of militants passed their weapons to Syrian authorities in Mahajja village in northern Dara’a countryside, effectively having their legal status settled.

Mahajja is located directly to the left of Damascus – Dara’a Highway. Its location is marked by a five-point star on the map below:

Lots of weapons and ammo have been voluntarily laid down by the militants:

In the meantime, while the reconciliation process between Syrian government and armed groups is underway in northern parts of Dara’a province, Free Syrian Army (FSA) factions and allied jihadists of Ha’yat Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) mobilize their forces for a major military campaign against so-called “Islamic State” (IS, formerly ISIL/ISIS) in southwestern Dara’a countryside.

What happened to their “death before honor and dignity” or similar worthless announcements of the wahhabis there? Now that the south has come into focus and seeing the revelations in the north and west they don’t seem to be so keen anymore? All the credit to Syrian Gov for conducting these reconciliation campaigns, they seem to be working well (in conjunction with the military advances that is)…

El ejercito Sirio debe avanzar hacia el este de Deraa por donde ingresaron los mercenarios desde jordania.
